## 1. What This Policy Covers

Mailrith is operated by Rawool Publications. In this policy, "Mailrith," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the Mailrith service and the team operating it.

This Privacy Policy explains how Mailrith collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit our website, create an account, use the app, contact support, or use our related services.

It also explains how we handle Subscriber data that you add to Mailrith or collect through forms, landing pages, magic links, automations, broadcasts, and sequences.

When you use Mailrith for your own subscriber list, you are responsible for the people on your list and the messages you send them. Mailrith processes that Subscriber data to provide the service to you.

## 2. Information We Collect

We collect information you give us, information created when you use Mailrith, and limited technical information that helps us keep the service working.

- Account information, such as your name, email address, password-related records, workspace details, and admin status.
- Billing information, such as plan, payment status, invoices, and payment identifiers. Payment card details are handled by our payment provider.
- Workspace content, such as Subscribers, tags, segments, custom fields, email templates, broadcasts, sequences, automations, forms, landing pages, magic links, and related settings.
- Email activity data, such as sent, delivered, bounced, opened, clicked, unsubscribed, and complaint events when those events are available.
- Support and contact information, such as messages you send us, attachments, and follow-up details.
- Technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser, device, pages viewed, app actions, timestamps, error logs, and security events.
- Cookies and similar identifiers used for sign-in, security, preferences, and basic measurement.

## 3. Subscriber Data

Subscriber data is the information about people on your list or people who interact with your forms, landing pages, magic links, broadcasts, sequences, or automations.

You decide what Subscriber data to add, import, collect, store, and delete. You are responsible for having the right permission or other lawful reason to use that data.

We use Subscriber data only to provide Mailrith to you, such as storing your list, applying tags, building segments, sending emails through your connected SMTP provider, recording activity, and showing reports in your account.

## 4. How We Use Information

We use information to provide Mailrith, support your account, improve the service, and protect users from abuse.

- Create and secure accounts and workspaces.
- Provide Subscriber management, broadcasts, sequences, automations, forms, landing pages, templates, magic links, reporting, and related features.
- Process billing, plan changes, trials, invoices, and payment status.
- Send service messages, such as sign-in emails, password resets, billing notices, security notices, and important product updates.
- Respond to support requests and troubleshoot problems.
- Monitor performance, fix bugs, prevent fraud, and protect Mailrith from spam, abuse, and unauthorized access.
- Comply with legal duties and enforce our Terms of Service.

## 5. SMTP Providers, AI Providers, and Connected Services

Mailrith lets you connect outside services, including SMTP providers and AI providers. When you connect a service, information may be sent to that service so the requested feature can work.

For example, your SMTP provider may receive email content, recipient addresses, sender details, and delivery events. If you use AI writing features, the prompt, selected content, and generated output may be processed by the AI provider you choose.

Those connected services are not controlled by Mailrith. You should review their terms, privacy practices, and account settings before connecting them.

## 6. How We Share Information

We share information only when needed to run Mailrith, follow your instructions, meet legal duties, or protect the service.

- Service providers that help with hosting, storage, analytics, support, security, payments, and operational tools.
- Connected providers you choose, such as SMTP providers and AI providers.
- Authorities, courts, or other parties when required by law or when needed to protect rights, safety, security, or prevent abuse.
- A successor if Mailrith is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.

## 7. No Sale Of Personal Information

We do not sell personal information. We do not sell Subscriber data. We do not use Subscriber data to advertise to your subscribers.

We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as that term is commonly used in US privacy laws.

## 8. Legal Reasons For Processing

Where privacy law requires a legal reason for processing, we rely on the reasons that fit the activity.

- Contract: to provide Mailrith and manage your account.
- Legitimate interests: to improve, secure, and support the service, and to prevent abuse.
- Consent: when you choose optional settings or where consent is required.
- Legal obligation: when we must keep records or respond to lawful requests.

## 9. Cookies And Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for sign-in, account security, preferences, and basic service measurement.

You can control cookies in your browser. Some parts of Mailrith may not work correctly if required cookies are blocked.

Email activity tracking, such as opens and clicks, may be available depending on your settings and the providers you use. You are responsible for telling your Subscribers about tracking where required.

## 10. Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Mailrith, comply with legal duties, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the service.

You can delete or export many records from your account. When an account is closed, we delete or anonymize account and workspace data within a reasonable period unless we need to keep it for legal, security, billing, backup, or fraud-prevention reasons.

Backup copies may remain for a limited time before they are overwritten or deleted as part of normal backup processes.

## 11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information, including access controls, encryption in transit, monitoring, and internal restrictions on who can access production data.

No online service can guarantee perfect security. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials, choosing strong passwords, limiting admin access, and keeping connected provider accounts secure.

## 12. International Transfers

Mailrith and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live or where your Subscribers live.

When required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contracts designed to protect personal information.

## 13. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to the use of your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

If a Subscriber contacts us about data you control, we may direct them to you unless the law requires us to respond directly.

## 14. Children

Mailrith is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Mailrith, contact us and we will review the request.

## 15. Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as posting a notice in the app or sending an email to the account email address.

The date at the top of this page shows when this policy was last updated.
